The GFWC Wewahitchka Woman's Club announced their selected delegate from Wewahitchka High School to attend the HOBY Leadership Conference in Tallahassee. This year's student is Maggie Miller, who was selected for her leadership qualities, academic excellence, and exemplary citizenship and volunteer work. Maggie is the daughter of Jason and Amy Miller.
With the fully paid sponsorship of the GFWC Wewahitchka Woman's Club, Maggie will be attending the HOBY: Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Conference in Tallahassee, along with other youth from across the state.
The HOBY mission is to inspire and develop youth to a life dedicated in leadership, service, and innovation. Founded in 1958 by Hugh O'Brian, HOBY has become one of the country's top youth leadership development organizations. During the week long conference, Maggie will participate in unique leadership training, service-learning, and motivation-building experiences.
