On January 22, Ralph Fisher, Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Wewahitchka, signed a Proclamation declaring February 2, 2018 as National Wear Red Day® in Wewahitchka, Florida.

National Wear Red Day® For Women is a massive national public awareness day the first Friday each February, urging women, people from all walks of life, businesses, towns, schools, the media, buildings and landmarks to “go red” and “glow red” to bring attention to the leading killers of women – heart disease and stroke.
So, please join in and help us spread the word to save women’s lives from heart disease and stroke by wearing something red. Your support will send a clear message to the women of Wewahitchka, Florida, and in your area as well, that protecting their heart health is important to them, their families, and their communities.
