HANDS HELPING HANDS: WOMANS CLUB BRINGS AWARENESS TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

During October, the GFWC Wewahitchka Woman's Club is bringing attention to domestic violence and starting the conversation in our community, as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

We have set up an informational display in the Charles Whitehead Wewahitchka Public Library that includes pamphlets and booklets about how to get local 24 hour crisis assistance from the Gulf County Domestic Violence Task Force and the Salvation Army Domestic Violence Program. Go by the library and pick up your free purple "Love Shouldn't Hurt" bracelet, and wear it in support of this mission.
