GFWC Wewahitchka Woman's Club President Tunnie Miller and Vice President Carolyn Watson are proud to announce that Jonah Bidwell from Wewahitchka High School was chosen as a contestant for the Washington D.C. Youth Tour, sponsored by Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative. Jonah was presented with a certificate on February 23, 2017.  GFWC Woman's Club sponsors a youth for the Rural Electric Youth Tour competition each year. Congratulations Jonah Bidwell.  Jonah is the son of Jay and April Bidwell of Wewahitchka.

2016 Student Delegate for Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative Youth Tour Competition
 The GFWC Wewahitchka Woman's Club is proud to announce their selected delegate from Wewahitchka High School to participate in the Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative Youth Tour Competition.  This year's student is Blake Harrison, son of Sheriff Mike Harrison and Mrs. Lana Harrison, and a Junior at Wewahitchka High School.  The Woman's Club is proud to select Blake as a participant, as he has shown himself to be an outstanding student and leader in his community.

     Each year, the Cooperative sponsors a contest for eligible high school Juniors to be nominated by local civic organizations. Blake will be going to the State Capitol along with over 100 Juniors from all over the State of Florida, enjoying various tours and fun events. The Woman's Club sincerely hopes Blake enjoys his tour of Tallahassee, and we are very proud of his accomplishments.
